Jeffery Doud

Position: 
Lead Pastor

Jeff was  raised in Medford, Oregon. He attended Medford First Church of the Nazarene. Upon graduating from high school, Jeff attended and graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 1991. While at NNU, Jeff met his wife, Lori, and married in 1992. Jeff served as youth pastor for 18 years in the Church of the Nazarene in California, Oregon, Washington, and Arizona. Jeff and Lori have 3 beautiful girls -- Emilee, Anna, and Abby. Jeff is an avid sports fan, especially his precious Oregon Ducks. He also loves most kind of music.

Janet Vandermate

Position: 
Church Office Secretary
 
Janet was raised in Seattle, Washington.  She attended Church of God (Holiness) until she moved to Emmett, Idaho in 1979.  There she attended the Bible Missionary Church.  Janet met her husband Rick at a Youth Camp where they were both teen counselors. Janet & Rick married in December, 1982 and she started attending the Nazarene Church after that.
 
They have 4 amazing daughters, Jenni, Kristen, Andrea, & Megan, 3 wonderful sons-in-law (so far) Matt, Nick, & Rusty, and 3 of the most precious grandchildren (Hailey, Britten, & Hannah)! While raising their daughters, Janet stayed at home with them and ran an in-home day care while being involved with the girls schooling.  Now Janet is as involved as possible with the Grandchildren and serves in several areas in the Church, including Missions and Children’s Ministries. Janet loves music & reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Josh Farmer

Position: 
Youth Pastor/Worship Leader

Josh was born in Corvallis Oregon in 1985 and attended Grants Pass Church of the Nazarene most of his childhood. In 2005 Josh married Amanda Rae Combe while attending Southern Oregon University. After his sophomore year at SOU, Josh and Amanda decided to move to Nampa Idaho and attend Northwest Nazarene University. After one year at NNU Josh and Amanda were called back to Grants Pass Oregon to help merge three Nazarene Church into one church called the Pursuit Church of the Nazarene. Josh served as worship pastor at the pursuit for three years and a half years and as the youth pastor for two and a half years. During this time Josh also completed a construction degree at Rogue Community College and Went to Burkina Faso Africa with a Jesus Film team. In 2010 Josh and Amanda decided to return to Nampa Idaho to finish their degrees at Northwest Nazarene University. Josh will complete his bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries with a minor in worship leadership next year spring 2012. Amanda will complete her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in the fall of 2012. Josh and Amanda have two girls, Kaitlyn and Isabella. Josh has been the Worship/Youth Pastor at Emmett Nazarene Church since February 2011. Josh loves to write and play music and is a huge Oregon Beavers Fan!!!
